download metasequoia, but don't expect to be able to animate or use bones

<edit> You can also download blender.. but the learning curve there is steep. It is, however, a fully fucntional modeler and animating program.

animating fro blender is suprisingly simple.

After using 3dsmax for 2 years, i find blender to be a very refreshingly simple yet powerful system to use. Its so much quicker.

Hello!

Try TrueSpace 3.2!! Go to www.dowload.com and type in TrueSpace 3.2 and you should find it. It's good cause it can animate too.

Hope it helped!

Because there's no download link to get it from, that's what I've gone there numerous times and it's always said it's no longer there, so what's the point of suggesting it?

Well, sorry if I sound like an a$$, but you'll have to learn how to use search engines at some point, and now is as good a time as any. If I google 'metasequoia' the first result I get takes me to a download page for it. Also, using the google forum search feature at the bottom of the thread listing, the first result is a thread with links to modelling programs, including Metasequoia.

Sometimes you should ignore JeBuS.
But do check every where before you post and use Blendre, cuz it rocks.

It depends on who you're asking. I prefer Milkshape, but that's just me. You really just have to try each one yourself and see what works best for you (free trials are a gift from God ).

Well, I consider gameSpace Light pretty powerful. You just have to be pretty resourceful with your triangles. But I absolutely love it's animation system.

Milkshape is most likely the easiest and in expensive modelling programs you can get. It kicks ass.

Is there any program that can animate that is a freeware and it's more simple than Blender? If not maight as well as learn Blender. Blender the interface is very confusing and it makes it very difficult to learn. So far I don't have a computer now because some guy was supposed to fix it and he moved away and don't wat to give it back. It was some old mexican guy about in around the age of 30 and in the end im just mad, but anyways I need to know one that is as easy as anim8or's animation style, but can be used in DarkBASIC.

JTEdit animates. I found it buggy, and it is no longer supported by its developer, but it is free and there are tutorials available. I'm learning Blender, but then I'm very patient and I don't have any deadline that I am trying to meet. If you are unwilling to spend a month or so just working your way through various tutorials then Blender is probably not for you.

It sort of depends on your personality, how your mind works, and what you are aiming for.

Eternal student in search of knowledge. But will settle for the occasional epiphany.
