I just downloaded the trial version of Character Shop and really like it although I had a question about scaling I hope someone can answer.

I tried 3DS models from Poser and DarkMatter and they all loaded as miniscule compared to the skeleton. As I tried to map the vertices the figure exploded and the radical size difference made it hard to see what needed to be attached where.

Is there any way to scale the model to roughly the size of the skeleton so things are somewhat manageable?

I had the same problem and it kept me from buying the software. I really like the interface, couldn't be more simple to use. As far as I can tell, there is no provision at all for rescaling the skeleton or the input model.

I tried the obvious -- rescaling the figures in another program before I loaded them up, to match the model they use in the examples. No joy. It's like the program expected all the various limbs in my objects to have the same relative size and position of the sample model. I ended up with heads sticking out of torsos, necks where left arms should be, etc., no matter what I did as far as mapping the vertices to the bones.

(sigh)
