just downloading.. screenies look nice! A hint for a better compressor.. Google 7z. Its better than WinRAR

PS: Nice website.. Hehe.. Shame you have designed it for one res only.. It look a good design tho. If I may make a comment.. Put your design in a single cell of a table then you can put that table in the center of the browser and it wont get tiled like it is now (on my 1280x1042 res).

NICE GAME M8!!!

That is a playable game!!

The AI is good - thos they picked on each other before me allowing me to win.

My only critism is it was too fast. I dont think you have speed limited.. The projectiles were only in the air for about 0.1 seconds, barely enough time to see them. I dont know if its mean to be that fast.. I'm running an AthlonXP 3200, 1Gb RAM and a 9800XT so I'm not far off the TGC testing PC specs.

heh...ya...my comp is below that for sure...i put a limit but i don't think it was low enough...i'll fix that... (bullets should be in the air for about 3 seconds )

ok the game was nice, i loved the way the earth slides back down the gap you shot , however after i ran one game and went back to the menu everything was laggy and same for ingame, it was find the 1st time around.

the ai sometimes gets jammed and it lakes the clicking sound and just halts, you should implement some sort of timer like if its takedn more then 5 secs then automatically make him shoot, it reminds me alot like worms with the healh over the name and all.

apart from those few gripes is a very nice game

@antdizzle-which version did you download? zip or rar? because i'm positive that that image is in there...it could be that it's not a square image and your comp doesn't support non-square images??

@darkcoder-thanks! i'll go see if i can fix that AI stop thingy(i've noticed it before) and i haven't noticed any slow down from going to the menu and back but oh well, i'll try and fix it anyway

note: this game is not done! still some stuff to add
new weapon type "roller"
player profiles
lots more levels...and the option to choose which level you play on...or the option to randomly choose a level
and maybe someother stuff if i have time

now that i look at my list i will go code

I got the same error with the RAR file. The zip file works.

The turret moves frustratingly slowly. Maybe if you hold shift it could move faster? Then with shift could be for fine tuning.

I like how the terrain falls down.

There should be an option to have your own images as the background.

Otherwise, it's cool. I love the retro feel.

The AI always kills me. They attack each other somethimes, but mostly me.

(But I nuke them)
Also, are there cheats?

The default editor is fine.

Hmmm... very cool idea, I love the tank building and just the whole concept of it. But the only thing that makes it seem so incomplete are the textures and other graphics. I think the tank building part would be greatly improved with more detailed and colorful graphics.

Anyways, great game, my only constructive criticism is try getting some improved textures/images on there.

Looking Good Peter_
The screenshots look nice and the Tank Shop idea sounds inovative.
I didn't bother downloading it (It would take my 56k hours) but i'll be sure to play the finnished version.

Be sure to post more screenshots for those of us who are speedy connection impared...

Good Luck!

@chrissknot- ok...so shift slows it down?? or speeds it up?? which one do you want? also if you want replace the backround image with another in the media files...the replacement has to be 640*480

@ilya-heh..no cheats sorry

Either. You might want to make it speed it up so it doesn't affect the current game.

Combine all the account files into one.
It makes it harder for me to get near-infinate money by copying and pasting.

What???!
The AI is cheap.
It takes it 2 shots to kill me... and it never misses.

Segestion:
Make the AI only have small bombs.
There's too many of them and they always hit... me.

you can set it to dumber ai if you want...also if you want to know how the ai works(to beat it) this is what it does...

if somebody shoots it then it is very likely to attack that person back ("revenge")

also it likes to hit far away people...

third..the enemy only has the types of weapons you have...so if you don't like them having large bombs then don't buy em

there is a new version that i haven't uploaded yet...it includes
airstrike
6 levels
lots more...

i will upload it and post a program announcment tomorrow...
