This is an all too common question that i have heard around the forums. Caligari TrueSpace 3.2 is very good for beginers, it has many informative tutorials and plugin. It is also completely exportable to DirectX format (.x).
1. Go
Here and fill in the information, the only thing that has to be valid is the email address.
2. Click
Here and it should pop-up for download, if you have SP2 (XP Service Pack 2) then right click on the warning and say download.
3. Unzip the archive, if you dont have winzip serch download.com
4. Run the installation file and when it asks you for the serial code go to your email address and copy and paste it in the blank.
5. If it fails to run and gives you an OpenGL error go
Here and download the dll, unzip it, and put it where you installed TrueSpace ex. "C:\ts3\".
