I have a guy that has quite a few animations in him, but i realized i need a few more bones. When I add a new bone the animations screw up, is there a way to add more bones and prevent this?

if your addition bone is a parent of another bone then its likely to totally screw up, but if its on its own then you should be ok aslong as you attach it to all keyframes
