Hello,

I think due to the success of this years convention, It may provide TGC with the motivation to organise an official one sometime next year. I would be very interested in it and im sure many other people would be too. If you are then post here and see if we can make them make it happen.

Well, if it's in the UK, I would suggest London.
Why ? Because it's also more easy to access by the other Europeans. I would only have to take two trains to come.

Of course France, Germany and The Netherlands would be ok too.
Too bad I couldn't go to Bamberg this summer.

An official convention would be great. I would have attended TCA's if it wasn't so far away. I'm with Darthster on this one. hold it in 'Nam (Birming-Nam). It's nice and central, easy to get to by train, plane or automobile, and whould halve my journey accross the country. Not everyone lives in the south, there are small pockets of civilisation up here in the grim north. Although we still have Black&White TV and think the 286 is most powerful computer known to man.

Yes I have driven around 'Nam before, I used to work there, and London. I know the M6&M42 are Pigs of roads, but they are infinatley better than anything withing a 20 mile radius of London.

Why no have a virtual convention? Hook up the TGC HQ with a load of webcams then send out a live video feed. I'm sure a tonn of people have webcams here as well. It could be a mass video chat thingy, and half the fun would be in finishing the chat thing!

Oh that rememinds me, when DarkTopias finished why not have it's offical opening as the virtual convention?

As the TGC team are based north, I think that it should be held in Birmingham, then it is central to enveryone, and easier for Lee and Mike to get to. Also, it's pretty close to me, so that would be good.

I'd be interested, but once again, there'd be money and time issues, I'll be in a full-time job for most of next year, doing work experience for college, so that would limit my chances somewhat. It would, however, provide me with necessary funds to attend...

Ok, first of all, London is REALLY expensive.

Secondly, I want to say that I thoroughly, and I mean thoroughly, appreciate the time and effort that TCA puts into these Cons. It must take hours and hours and hours to arrange. Yet he does it. The man deserves an award.

Thirdly, I thought Chichester was a fine and very interesting venue. In fact my biggest regret is that I didn't take the extra time to look around the City. I shall be doing that sometime soon as I intend to make a special trip back just to sightsee.

So, hence, I am quite happy to vote for Chichester again.

I have no objection with Chichester, I appreciate all the time and effort that went into it and I enjoyed it very much. If you were to host more then I am practically a guaranteed attendee of them all .

It would be nice to see TGC involvement in it. They have a large amount of people who respect them and their work, I for one, and obviously everybody else who attended last weekend, not to mention probably hundreds of people here.

With Chichester I personally have no problem with, but it is difficult for lots of other people (including international visitors) to reach, but having said that, TCA does do the wonderful work of organising it, so he deserves to do it in a place convenient for him to set it up.

Just my thoughts.
