It'll work fine. You won't be able to load your levels into DBPro however for you to build a game around.

Get 15 new commands, all the date / time commands left out of DBPro for free!
DOWNLOAD PLUGINS HERE: http://www.davidtattersall.me.uk/ and select "DarkBasic"

But you may be able to save your levels as *.map files and export from there.

But are you still aloud to save them as standalone files in FPSC?

Yes.

DBC/DBPro are not required to run FPSC.
