Hi

now i have been working very hard and i have needed to get through MANY bugs and errors. (click on the download button in right corner to download a screen shot package you need RAR)
But now my project is soon done
This is going to be my first real 3d graphical demo ever thats why i have worked hard.
Okay if some of you guys readed my old post you know what its all about but i will give another explain:

you can control a guy (First person) and you can walk around in a dark wood of course with 3d trees.
I would like to call it a simulation of a guy(you control) walking around in a scray wood and also i have added rain sounds and sometimes there will come a scary growl from a wolf
i have decided that i will make it a game sometimes were you going to shoot wolf walking around in the wood
But as this is my first 3d project ever i think im doing well.

so far i only need to make this:

rain effect

EDIT : the feautures so far is:

you can walk around on in the wood.
there is a nice rain sounds effect

EDIT : Download
look at my last thread for the newest update (the trees looking much better on the new update)

There is nothing there worth commenting on really. I'm glad that you are enjoying using DarkBASIC, but there isn't much point releasing test projects like this on the web unless they are fully playable games.

I suggest that you take this and use it as a foundation for something else, such as a Resident-Evil type game perhaps?

By fully playable he means games that have a point, games where you want to do something, like get through a story, not just some woods.

There is only one way to package shaolin: Shaolin Soccer...

Tech demos are nice too . This is coming along pretty well. Just keep updating, and a screenshot would be nice.

Those trees aren't too good.

It's important to have good models.

I've attached a simple tree model.
