I must admit to not fully giving the multiplayer stuff a full go and some of the vector commands.

Ive read the multiplayer document many times but want to get my single player going side before i fully have a go at them.

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself

I haven't used much sprite stuff, no multiplayer, no memblocks, no vectors, no shaders, no world loading, I think that is it...

bsp, terrain(old),and the vector commands are the only ones I don't use on a regular basis. Most of the sound commands don't work for me no matter what format I use, so I just use the music ones instead.

I use a lot of image and sprite commands - haven't used particles or the world commands. Along with 3D maths...

I've never used the animation commands, the world commands, I prefer using my own particle system, and I very rarely use the light commands.

[Edit]: Actually, thats not true, I set ambient light, and other light-related commands for my objects often enough.

Multiplayer, memblocks, 3dmaths, and the shader functionality though that's not a command set. I've worked with everything else.

i haven't tried any commands except the ones that i've tried

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

The only commands I've never tried were the animation commands. I never had any need to put a movie in any of my DBP projects.

Otherwise, I'm sure I screwed around with every other command in one way, shape, or form.

Cheers,
Preston

Geez, my programming experience is pathetic...

I haven't looked at the multiplayer stuff very closely at all, or vectors for that matter - I reckon I'm a bit like Indi, an old fashioned style coder who'd swap it all for interupt driven function calls and smaller exes .

I am considering multiplayer for my missed-deadline-again compo entry, but that'll be more of a learning experience, like not trying to make a specifically multiplayer game, just want to get the ideas solid in my heid and get the basic technique down.

Too many to be listed here.

But isn't it more important to finish a project ?

I'm still having real trouble with the "make cake" command. I'm STILL getting "out of Gateaux at line 10" errors. I first reported this bug last December but it STILL has not been fixed.

Ilya: Is using the memblocks for bitmaps->images a lot faster than using the get image command? If so, could you give me a code example? But only for DB Classic... I looked through the codebase, but they don't have anything. That would really help out my radar routine, I'll give you credit...
