Hi y'all, I'm a newbie so don't jump on me if this has already been asked, is in an obvious place, or whatever. I've only posted once on the forum so far!

Anyway, here's my question:
Is it possible to create DLLs with DarkBASIC? (I don't have Pro if that means anything.) If so, how?

Thanks a lot y'all!

Actually, you can make a dll like this:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that just create a text file? I want it to be able to use DB functions.

Yes, but the text file is a dll. You put the dll code that you see in notepad into the string.

(So technicly, you can make a dll in db/dbp).

Thanks CattleRustler, but I was expecting some hazing anyway. It always happens on new forums.

LOL Ilya! Believe it or not, that sounds like something I would say!

and technicly you should be shot for saying that, because to do it you would have to compile it in c++ then open it in dbpro then write it out to a dll then use it, which is completely pointless
