I am posting this here in the hopes that someone will try it out and give me some feedback. This is a beta version of my upcoming DBP_VB6LIB DLL for DBP. It has basic comm port functionality and the dll is fully documented. The mscomm32.ocx file is included in the zip incase you dont have it. Please read the doc file, it recommends using your version of mscomm32.ocx before using the one included.

Thanks and let me know how it gets on.

Thank you for the Serial dll, Just what I needed
sems to work fine so far. I did have some slight trouble
loading DBP_VB6LIB.dll from the compiler directory as suggested, dropped it into the current project directory and everything ran fine. Will keep you posted on developments.

I will test the serial if you send enough DBP code to get me going. I am very new to DBP. I normally program embedded stuff.

I am hoping to build a digitizing arm, and communicate to DBP via the serial port.
