Yeah that was by Sega - and utter pants it was too
but quite fascinating for the time. I think it was actually called Time Traveller.
It's not the same as Dragon's Lair which was a laserdisc game, not holographic (it was flat 2D). The Sega games were properly created holograms (little moving characters projected onto a flat surface, sort of like the chess scene in Star Wars, but no-where near as convincing).
Battlezone was created by Morgan Hoff (project lead) and programmed by Ed Rotberg. It was released into the arcades in November 1980 and the US army loved it so much they commisioned a customised version of it for tank training
