Spooky wrote the original code, but I thought it might be worth reposting it as it's undergone some subtle improvements (hope you don't mind Spooky). I've rewritten the chase-cam to give it a more natural feel, and as I was in a plagiarising mood, I've also incorporated Cloggy's 3d starfield into it. Don't know what that zebra-like spaceship texture was all about, so that's gone too .

I remember that code! Was originally designed to show a workaround of multiple camera angles when old DBPro patch screwed everything up.

Love the starfield effect, specially when you accelerate.

A bit of work is still needed on the camera system to be more realistic but the general idea is there.

The 'zebra like' spaceship texture was a silly idea I had at the time.
