hey, guys and girls,
like many of you, i would like to make my games available for
download. also like many of you, i need to be frugal with my money.

so here's what i need, since lots of you have websites, and there
are so many hosts out there:

1. needs to allow you to upload and download large files
(dbp exe 6-30 mb)
2. best cost-to-service ratio
3. needs to have some sort of site design tools (not just HTML)
4. least annoying banner ads / pop-ups. (or none)
5. least amount of server being down.

what works for you? what have you tried and thought was terrible?

anyone have any knowledge of this company:
http://www.websitesource.com/
?

thanks,
bob

Is that a $6 one-time fee?

Go to [href]www.pt-web.net[/href].

I think you'll need to post in the forum or something, but within a week you'll have 100mb of webspace, something like 4gb of bandwidth per month, CPanel (e-mail & PHP-Nuke & any odds 'n' sods really, all with auto-installers), and some other really cool stuff.

(Oh yeah, no popups or adverts AT ALL, 100% free)

There are a few I'd recommend, but they do cost...

Vizaweb - Huge bandwidth and disk space; great price. I think you even get a free domain name.

Glob@t - Also huge bandwidth and disk space. I think you get a free domain name here too.

MySiteSpace - This is my host. The bandwidth and disk space aren't as high as the previous two, but the service with this host is brilliant. I'd recommend this one.

I use [href]www.supanames.com[/href]

I few people on here say they've had problems - I haven't.. I think they're great!

The only thing is, to host EXE's you need at least mid packaged which is about £50 a year.

FROGGIE!
