Here's a screensaver I wrote which you can download and distribute for free. It is a good example of how a second camera can be used to make reflections.

You can just run it as an exe, or to make it your screensaver, just change the extension from .exe to .scr

Then bung it in the system32 folder in your windows directory and chose it as your screensaver through the normal display settings menu in the windows control panel.

Finally! I've been wondering for ages how you do screensavers in WinXP. I mean, I've been wondering how you get them to appear in the screensaver list.

when you export the file sava it as for example "screensaver.SCR"
and then drag and drop the file into the windows or winit folder then when you go to the screensaver menu it is there. if you have XP it doesn't realy like it but it still works. ime not sure if it works but it should. don't blame me if it crashes. (I have XP).
hope this helps.
if you want to know more just post on this forum.

programing's cool but i'm cooler

I posted an early, no media version of the code here:

The new version has been polished a lot graphically, but the main code has remained pretty similar.

Did you follow the rest of the instructions as well? ie:

" Then bung it in the system32 folder in your windows directory and chose it as your screensaver through the normal display settings menu in the windows control panel. "

Hmmm .... but it work as an exe, right? If that's the case then maybe there's something amiss whithin your screensaver setup in the windows control panel. Can't think what though.

if the file extension is changed to .scr instead of .exe then (in XP anyway) rightclick the file and select install to install the screensaver, it will often run it at thesame time though.
