Fit in? He said he's been here two and a half years and obviously has no regard for the rules, the quality of the boards or basic decency. He spams, he trolls, he makes crap like this... and he's trying to fit in? No, doesn't add up. Nobody could be thick enough to expect to garner respect from these actions.

Sorry, I was flicking between about 4 forums for a bit and forgot to add:-

After all, he is obviously under 6 years of age, using his daddy's PC, or perhaps mentally handicapped in some tragic way, or perhaps both.... vote now...

Heh, no seriously, why doesn't someone ban him?

Cheers

Actually doing the caring teacher type voice in my head (stupid imagination) was even more fun than doing scottish or nazi impressions.... hmmm....

Now now Mouse, he may have been mentally abused as a small child. ie. yesterday. There is no need to throw anger after hurt. Hug the pain, teach it to cry. C'mon Mouse, say it with me, "We love you Soldier whateveryournameis", altogether now.... with feeling... m'kay...

Of course you could let out your inner moderator and ban the twit.

and Rich could overthrow Lee as the TGC leader taking the company into a frenzy of creating a new DarkBasic2D only available on the dead Atari formats which by some miricle of fate is brought back onto the market as a new retro trend making him more money than Microsoft have made in 2 decades..

or Bush could come out of the closet and admit he's gay; and that he has been having a secret affair with Osmar Bin Laden, with Saddam being in on this let him 'overtake' his country just to throw the press off the real fact that it was Bush's very own secret service who hit the trade towers because they were drinkin'and'flying..

or... well you get the idea

Soldier, I feel it's best to not let your pending post through. Not only did you give away the approval time, you'd have been flamed to a crisp the minute it was posted.

All I can say is keep your feet on the ground, and don't be too eager. An eager member is nice but a spammer is not. Try and stay on the right side of the line between the two.

it is simple to fix... the issue isn't if i can, but if i will.
i've told you i won't.

if you can't stand it then tough
you can complain to Puffy about deleting my original one which had the transparency setup correctly; the hard disk that has the original PSD died (still trying to get my hands on the new chipset) so I had to quickly edit up a jpg version.

to do inside each letter without loosing too much quality would take atleast an hour; and considering this logo is only on this one forum, i don't care.

so what's wrong with the E and the while hue around each of the letters which haven't dithered properly.

i mean to you that might be good 'enough quality but to me it isn't;

Take a look at your own logo, you've got the same 'white hue', if it's not "good enough for you", then why do you use it?

Sounds to me like your talking out your ass. Editing it pixel by pixel wouldn't even take an hour.

because the white hue, with white internals you don't get that bad dither which makes the letters look rough. if you can't see the difference having the internal white w/external hue, and now having it then i feel sorry for you.

you can't do a half-assed job and expect it to come out as it should; if your going to do the internal, you'll have to edit up the external as well; and while some obviously believe that because it's a small surface area this = doesn't take very long, you have to keep in mind that using wand selection will only select within a tolerance. This will *still* leave a white hue all over the place, and if you edit the pixel selection by hand you also have to edit the feathering and fall-off by hand too; then you can get into doing the actual logo.

I would rather have a logo which has a broad transparency that appears smooth, then one which has full transparency but appears dither-transparent.

futher more along those line is the original logo was in more than one forum; two of which were dark, so if i took the time to edit i would want it in those forums so ALL of the white would have to go... else i'd simply edit up the image to do a colour replacement with the blue hue of this forums background which would be easier and alot quicker.

even still; i don't really give a toss, so tough.

Raven, you're talking complete and utter horseshit, not that it's a surprise, because that's all you ever do. You said "Losing Quality", I lost no detail at all and did it in 5 minutes (as opposed to the 'hour' you claimed) and as usual, you can't admit you're wrong. Now you come up with some lame-ass excuse about how you'd rather have a totally crap image then a half-crap image, despite it being a significant improvement. Then, despite originally admitting that it's only used for this forum, go on and say the hue would be noticable on darker forums.

The fact of the matter is, you're just trying to act like an ass to everyone, as you always do.

Hehe, you could draw it again from scratch in about 10 minutes! - I don't really see the point though, it's not like it's getting printed on a T-Shirt or coffee mug.

Soldier should know that all the mods are keeping an eye on him, so right about now is a good time to change the spammer attitude into something more constructive - banning is something that should always be used as a last resort, it really depends on how you've been behaving. Ignoring peoples advice and spamming like this is not the way to stay on the forums for long.

well lets see...

firstly; your post is 15minutes after mine, so unless you were sitting around doing nothing for 10minutes that would mean you took longer on it than you claim.

secondly; i said at the start, i'm not going to change it. was a quick replacement for something lost, obviously it bothers you lot more than it bothers me what it looks like. but put bluntly, i don't feel like changing it and it isn't going to change end of story.
quite frankly it is getting tiring listen to you people whinge all the time...

'oh your signature is too big'
'your signature is a cartoon'
'i don't like you so i'm going to take your signature and remake a mock copy of it'

for f**ks sake, grow the hell up. that is my signature, and it will stay as my signature; the transparency doesn't bother me, rough edges do... if you have a problem with that, TOUGH! i don't know how many more times i have to say it before it finally registers in those tiney brains that seem to believe that the more you edit it up the more it's going to make me want to change it.

if the transparency bothered me that much, as i said; i'd either take the hour to edit it up (PROPERLY), or remake, or replace with an older one which does have everything setup, or just take it off.

simple fact of the matter is i've had that signature logo for the past 3months, and whether you like it or not, it is going to stay. just becuase you have such sad little lives that you have to find something ... anything ... just to sit here and pull apart of mine, just goes to really show how really you need to press that little button on your computer case that says 'power' and go outside more.

i mean for gods sake, it's just a bloody signature icon, not the end of the sodding world!

Raven, usually I would ban users for abusing others with obscenities, but in your case it provides much needed forum entertainment for everyone else.

This thread was pointless in the first place and has now gone way off topic.

No, no, no... Let Raven keep his original sig.
It is his right as a member of this board to be able to do as he pleases with his signature and avatar to personally identify himself ( as long as it is within the AUP of course )...

Having said that, Raven, you're a complete idiot.
