I am looking for models of planes I can use in a game I am making. I would like to find some old WWII type planes as well as some modern planes/jets. If anyone knows where I can get some on the internet, or if anyone wants to be nice enough to make me some or share some they have made with me I would great appreciate it. I will put you in the credits if you allow me to use your models.

there is an internet place called google. go there and look for planes from ww2. or even turbo squid, which is actually a 3d site.

There are a few free models at http://avalon.viewpoint.com that might help, but watch the poly count as many tend to be designed for beauty rather than game play.

If you don't mind paying for them, there's a collection of 24 low-poly planes from http://www.geo-metricks.com. It's not limited to WW II though... there are WW I and also modern aircraft there. I bought it about a year ago and am really happy with it. I'm (finally) learning enough about 3D modeling that I can alter the structure of the WWI planes and end up with something that would pass for the 1940's.
