It's my firm belief that it's far easier and cheaper to actually fly to the moon than stage it.

thats because the moon reflects light brilliantly, so the camera has to have very short exposure time, which dims down the light, hence dim objects such as stars just arnt captured.

as i said, the moon is reflective. light is bouncing around of rocks everywhere

if you notice the moon buggy driving, youll see the moon soil stuff ejects outwards in a perfect parabola, something we dont get on earth because of out atmosphere.
andif your still sceptical, i read in the focus magazine that someone's building a telescope with high enough resolution to zoom in on the moon and take a photo of the moon lander. we'll just have to wait until then.
