Hey Everyone,
Wow its been ages. Anyway here's something for you all. 2 new pics in the CGI section of my page (http://xenla.tripod.com) called Planet '03 and Planet '03 SE. The scene was rendered in Truespace 5, and SE was touched up in Adobe Photoshop.
Hope you like them,
Sina.

Yeah its what you get when you have a tripod account, don't worry I'm moving to a better provider soon.
Thanks
Sina.

Hehe, thanks!
The scene is basically a smoothed sphere with a spotlight some ways behind it. All the textures were made in Truespace, otherwise I'd have to use massive texture files to keep the detail from blurring. Took it's time rendering though.
Thanks again,
Sina.

Love the artwork - what did you use to colour them in?

If we could strike, I guarantee you there would be martial law.

Well the original render (the one that isn't monochromatic) was done entirely in Truespace, and the blue version was edited from the original in Photoshop. Basically I just added scanlines then tweaked the hue/saturation option under image>>adjust. Very simple to do.
