this is my first attempt as bsp worlds so i apologise if this is a silly question.

i have created a simple world ( consisting of just a box ) and saved it as an .x file. i have run the bsp compiler provided with db and although it is producing a level.dat file and XXX.bsp file i am getting the error message "Failed to select splitter" - what does this mean ?

i am just getting a black screen when i try and load the files into db - is this conected in some way ?

if it failed to select splitter then it means that it isnt registering the file as an object primitive. the bsp creator can only read primative objects. if the box is a primative then maybe try with a different primative

F*** the world and rock on!
