Well, after a thread in the DBP Forum, I thought I'd give it a go. Its wierd!!

I cant think of a better way to make it easier to judge where the ball is going to go without actually making it TOO easy!!

Anyway, its attached, I'll chuck a screeny this way too in a minute.

looks 2d in a 3d environment. I take it you can move forward and back as well as left and right?

Woah - that's hard! Maybe if the camera angle was from behind the bat, so moving it left and right wasn't so tricky?

It is 3D, you can move up and down and in the "depth" axis..

It is hard.. I considered that angle, but thenb seeing the goal might be hard unless I enable alpha mapping on the arena too

Yes that's true. There is of course the 'sittingontopofftheball' view - now that WOULD be hard to play!!
