DarkBASIC Discussion / main menu?

hi i made a main menu but when i add my game to it it mucks up so i was wandering if any one has a main menu that doesn't use the gosub command or goto in it and that u use the arrow keys to move through the options and enter to select.
please help

You might try:



As you can see putting another do/loop in your program won't hurt.

I think he's talking about having it to where he can have buttons and what not so that things can be configured and what not. Dunno could be wrong. Have been before.

what i meant was a menu with start, load, options, quit. and more inside but u use the up and downkey to select one of them and press enter to access it but without the gosub command in it cus my game doesn't work properly with then.

its always best to write the game first and then the menue system later, but...



something along those line should be OK

here's a menu i made for my program that doesn't use the gosub command or goto but it also doesn't use the enter key i tried to make it web page links it might work with you program it might not.
