The .Net IDE is now completely open source, you get 3 folders of VB.Net source and the original installer.

****

Thanks for downloading the source code for the DarkBasic.Net Editor, please note that this software is protected by the GNU licence.

It is *highly recommended* that you install the program found in the release folder before you try to open any VS.Net projects to ensure that your system is set up correctly.

This archive consists of 4 pieces:

1). Editor

The VB.Net 2003 source code for the IDE this is a complete package, however the images are copyright, and so have not been included in their original form.

*Warning*

You must install
* Compona Syntaxbox trial
* Compona Components

from Http://www.Compona.com before attempting to open the project as these are used by the editor.

2). Injector

The VB.Net 2003 source code for the IDE's syntax highlighting system editor. This just lets you customise the compilicated file using an easy to use interface.

3). Setup

The VS.Net installer project for the installer used for the IDE.

4). Release

The latest compiled version in ready to install format.

The IDE is pretty stable in it's running, and has some neat features. But alas, some features have bugs, some features are missing and it's not super fast If you make a cool version be sure to let me know!

Thanks,
John

The features you can now have the source to:

* Full syntax highlighting (with injector for TPC's etc)
* Full *.dbpro maintenance, can even read corrupted or otherwise damaged/malformed projects.
* Option explicit integrated parser, like the VS.Net output window
* XP style user interface (fully customisable)
* DBP/DBC support (DBC supports needs DBP/DBP demo installed)
* DBP activation/DBP dll supported
* Refactoring toolbox
* Plugin support with direct access to the syntax component

Some screen shots (sorry for the size):
