Welocum to another conversion thread...

Does anyone know a good FREEWARE... *glares at some unruly elements in the forum who dig out KaZaA* converter program for converting basic .lwo models into .x format... what I did originally is made them in 3dCanvas, then exported to truespace, then exported to x, but i dont have truespace no more..

Can anyone help?

I if you do have lightwave, you can just export to .3ds then use dbconv to go to .x. The way it sounds in your post, I don't think you have lightwave though?

If you do, hope that helps. If you don't, then it doesn't help at all, and I will check around for one...

I am the very disease you pretend to be.

found the solution! thanks to me bro! ^_^

what I eventually did was fiddle with the preferences to enable the unlock button, then downloaded a load of plugins and exported to DXF and CrossRoads'sed it to X format. I had to flip the polygons though in lightwave to get it to work.

Note to ENGO - Found that X editor for you, nak nak.
