ok i got vb 2005 beta 1 and i have looked everywhere on it but cant seem to be able to make exe or make dlls and i think it is now completely .net run so is there also a way to make dlls without requiring .net framework 2.0

VB 2005 requires the .NET 2.0 framework. It doesn't produce "normal" Windows DLLs it produces .NET components. DBPro cannot natively use these, you need a wrapper written in C++ to "glue" the two together.

not exactly, the vb.net dll can be "manipulated" into a format that DBP can use, without the need for (shiver) C++ wrappers.

dll needs no string table, plugin does
there is a way to do both for vb.net dlls, but I wont post it here
