I am not sure how to use dbSyncRate. Some code I looked at used dbSyncRate(60), but higher values give me fater FPS. dbSyncRate(0) which says it allows refresh as fast as the system will allow. Wouldn't I want that? Not sure what the trade-offs are....

thanx

Sometimes it goes so fast some images are not seen because the human eyes can only see so much

Mattman that has nothing to do with it.

@roujesky: A higher FPS means it'll go faster because it'll increase the amount of frames per second. 0 means it draws as fast as possible.

Raven: That said, I DO say 'that said' a lot. 'Nuf said.

It also means that it'll run at different speeds on different systems, so you'll need to compensate by moving your objects according to a timer instead.

So, this is kind of a 'your mileage may vary' kind of thing? Start with 60 and adjust carefully realizing that older machines may not be able to keep up?
