I don't know anything about Blender but if you can try to keep
your geometry in quads other than triangles. You will find it easier
to work with and looks better IMO.

Looking good so far. In all honesty, I think I saw something like that on the roads recently. The trend in real autos seems to be a more "blocky" look. I'm old school though, I like those smooth, aerodynamic, and fast cars for the real thing.

heh, Mercedes Smart Cars kinda rock
my brother got one reluctantly a few months back, but has come to love it. It's a very small, very light, and surprisingly nippy for a 900cc car

if you get www.thesmart.co.uk, it has alot more images to base it on.. i think suurland.com has a rough version too.

i was making a silly racing game not that long back using the SmartCar ForTwo (the model above), might see about finishing that sometime actually... something about NFSU gave me the urge to do it heh

Heh i wouldnt like to be in a crash in one of those things though, i think a light crash with a moped could total one of those things

thanks for the comments here's an updated version, I've got the basic mesh worked out.

I made tris because it ends up triangled anyway and this way I can choose which way to divide up the quad by turning the faces

I`m hoping to use this car for a vehicle project I'm just starting, this is the first of hopefully several different vehicles. I'm going to set to center of gravity high on this one, so the car is a little "tipsy" when it corners should be fun.

p.s. there is actually a sporty car from the same manufacturer, here's a few pics, I might try and model this one later as well
