Oh yes. The forum's official hibernator and all round woolly mammal is B A C K from holiday.

Just got back to my flat after 31 hours in the air. In consecutive order the flights home from NZ were:

Auckland > Melbourne
Melbourne > Singapore
Singapore > Dubai
Dubai > Heathrow

... and I have to say that I like Australia and New Zealand very much. Very much indeed. These two countries now join Philip's exclusive list of Countries He Likes A Lot And Wouldn't Mind Living In. This is despite our Philip being nicked by an anal NZ copper for doing 2 mph at a stop sign and not actually stopping.

But I am very tired. I've got to get a power nap for a few hours as I've got the firm's Xmas party this evening. As that involves free food, booze and gossip its unmissable.

In the meantime I just wanted to log on to see what Rich made of Manamana. In terms of his review, I love the spot on ascerbic comments. If anything, I think he has been kind and spared my bit of humour the royal roasting it deserved.

**EDIT: Whoa! I've just noticed that I've actually won a prize. This may be a stupid question but what is an Atari 10-in-1 handheld TV game system?

Philip

Perhaps I should have entered the compo if manamana won .

Anyway, glad your back to provide witty riposte and comic relief.

It contains 10 really, really, really, really old Atari games shoved into 1 joystick which is then shoved into the back of your 7.1 55" Plasma screen TV

The easiest way of doing it...

It might be worth looking at DarkSDK by the way - if you can code in C...

Welcome back! However, I thought you were going to Sydney? Had I known you'd be visiting my home town then I could've performed the assassination attempt in person rather than wasting an arm and leg on some bounty hunter who thought he was in a Sci-Fi film.

@Mouse, I published some screenies about 4 months or so ago.

@Mr. Flibble and Exeat: ENOUGH people! Get a room!

Seriously, in my original post which I posted before I went on holiday I explained that I was starting my trip in Perth. Whilst in Perth I went to Freo and stopped by the Little Creatures brewery (a very charming place). Once the Freo Doctor is disregarded, my present view is that Western Australia is superior to Eastern Australia. However, this is only on the basis of Perth v. Sydney. I understand from Melbourne-ites that Sydney is a pale imitation of Melbourne so perhaps when I eventually get to look around the city (rather than just the airport) I may form a different view.

In the meantime, Western Australia is ahead on points.

Philip
