LOL. I think you're right. I was just teasing.

Thanks, but Babelfish translated my French to something like "your wife pickled my cucumber" or "Likee I spanky you heiny?" I'm lucky I didn't get beat up for hitting on somebody's wife or some Sumo wrestler taking me up on the heiny spanking offer...

I was just asking hoe to display an .x file in Darkbasic Pro.

I guess it's just like displaying a bitmap or sprite.

Also, is there anything that I need to do to the .x file to get it to display properly? what is UV unwrap?

Hi Vinnie,

Run (do not walk!) to the DBPro Basic3D example programs in the Help/Examples tree where you installed DBPro. Just start with example #1 and work forward. Load each program up, run it, spend a little time reading the code afterward to see what's going on. Your questions are well-intentioned and there's no such thing as a bad question, but it sounds like you're where I was at a year ago (just starting out) and I think you'll emerge from that section of help files with a huge leap in your 3D knowledge. IMHO, they are really good example programs.

Thank you everyone. I will start with the example files.

Yes I am starting out, I was starting a 2d game but got lured in by the 3d stuff.
