I've noticed (at least for .X files made in TS4.3) that if I make an object and individually manipulate UV coords on a face, then load the mesh and the texture and put them together with Make Object, there is a glitch. The faces that I manually UVed become invisible. I've loaded the object via Load Object and did NOT experience this same problem. I'll check my model info and texture and play around with them.

O! B4 I forget: Clone object gives a fatal error if you clone an object containing single 2D facets. IE. If you create a ball of light using a rectangle that always faces the camera, cloning it will crash DBP.

PS - many of you with TS4 are saying "why are you UVing with a single texture in TS4? It can't be done!" Well it can now! Check out my other post "Truespace Skinner."

This is a bug with Truespace not DB, I had the same problem when creating Elite Multiplayer ships. Unfortunately the only way I find around any such modelling problem is Milkshape.

Haha! I did it! I made a way around that works with binary and ASCII .X files!

hehe... that's ok. I'm not sure which version you are running, but for security sakes, don't hit the HELP button! I think I screwed up on the patch a little bit, but the rest of it works fine.

oh yeah, one more thing. If you need help with it, their is a .DOC (and possably a .TXT) that are the help files. The help button is simply supposed to display the text real nicely in a window, but I cant remember if I put the .TXT in the patch. Ooops! Both .DOC and .TXT are the exact same file, just different formats (don't ask I don't know why I did it that way). Hope it works out and love a lot of feedback!
