looks like some1 wants to know what i wanna know too. i've nearly completed my model of a dragon and soon will wanna animate it. i've roughly gathered the idea of bones but still rather ropey at it.
how do u do it in 3ds5? if Grizzly Netch is using the same version then this might clear things up for all of us.

@ Grizzly. do u know how to lower the poly count of a model in 3ds? i been using splines (loverly things) and it's nearing 200k+ of pollies eeeeek!!!!

and thats just the head and body. i'm looking at 50k at most but i don't wanna loose any quality coz for my 1st attempt its amazing and my mates have said the same thing. when it's done i'll post a thread and show you all what it looks like that is.....WHEN ITS TEXTURED
