http://www.ticalc.org

Search for NWC_Omega or Preston Chaderton, and you'll find my games on it

Cheers,
Preston

Ah the joys of seeing all of my old stuff, and the joys of how idiotic I was concerning trademarked names (I used to call myself Omega Games only to find out the name was taken...I never changed it in my programs I don't think )

I typed the programs, by hand, on the TI-83+ (or whatever calculator I used to make the game). Typing the code wasn't too easy (I longed for a standard keyboard several times trying to make them).

Cheers,
Preston

All of the commands and how to use them should be in the manual that came with your calculator (they were in my manual).

Preston

Woah, I think I remember seeing those Starcraft programs when I was downloading things for my calculator, although, I never ended up getting them because I only have a standard TI-83.

Oh, and yeah, all the commands are documented in the Manual (or 'Guidebook') that comes with the calculator. Although, you don't really need the manual because most of the commands can be found just by browsing the menus. I.e. When editing a program, press 'PRGM', and '2ND -> PRGM' to find the main ones. Learning to use some of them is a bit difficult without the manual though.

My version isn't, TI-83+ Basic isn't exactly the fastest thing in the world, so it was supposed to be turned based. Though, I never finished it, and it pretty much sucks anyway. All you can do is create certain units, collect minerals and gas, and attack your own troops to a certain degree. It sucks, but I was proud of it.

If you want an RTS Starcraft for the TI-83+, someone did program (or...was programming) one in z80 ASM. Check around the ASM section of the site. It was a bit buggy the last time I tried it though (which was about two years ago, a lot could have changed).

Cheers,
Preston
