I am using the GIMP and I was wondering if there are any tutorials on creating textures that I could use in a game.

What kind of textures are you looking to create? Also, are you looking at UV mapping, and if so, are you familiar with how to do that?

I also have Gimp and have starting using that to play around with texturing. I looked up a couple PSP texture creation tutorials to help figure out some of the basics, then went through the Gimp tutorials to figure out how the basic commands translated bewteen the two packages.

Gimp is for those who can't afford PSP (or those who don't want to). It's a great tool and you all should eat it.
