I was looking through the forums yesterday and thought wouldn't it be so much easier to help people if we knew exactly what version of windows, what spec pc and what TGC software they owned. This way we could offer more detailed help. My idea is to have little 16x16 icons beneath the avatars to identify the version of windows and TGC products they own.

What do you think?

like it, sort of in the forum profile page there would be a set of radio or check boxes so that you can tell other users your spec - i really like it

heres an idea - wouldn't it be a good idea to have a "This file has been downloaded x amounts of times" next to the download button for thread attachments

sounds like a good idea. There is a little space below our location that could be filled in nicely with little pics

let the user fill it in in their profile. then when someone clicks the already existing profile button, they can view the persons pc specs. good idea.
