Odd title? I agree.
Here's a picture of it:

I was making a model so I could learn how to uvmap and all things related with any kind of texture however I failed in that. So I just applied a material with an image on it and this is how it turned out. It was rendered in Yafray. I actually think it looks better without the material. Now back to figuring out UVMapping...

Well for this I wasn't tryign to make a good model... Just figure out uv mapping and what not which failed. But I might try to make a better one.

I think you made life difficult for yourself, its pretty complex for trying to figure out how to UV map, what app are you using?

Yeah I guess, but I like making things diffucult for myself. I'm using Wings and Blender to do the modelling and tried to use UVmapper for getting the UVmapper.

I think I'll try to learn it again over christmas if I can find some tutorials that are easy to follow.
