Hi all,
I've asked this befoe but never got any positive results, with the state of the team requests at the mo I've decided that I should really try and learn to make my own models and textures instead of relying on someone else.
I've made a model in Mlikshape, and that's fine, my problems start with Lith Unwrap....

# I open the MS3d (milk shape 3d) file
# Unwrap the model and click on Edit > Copy > Template
# I paste this image into my image editor, draw a simple texture and save it as a .jpg
# I go back to Lith rightlcik on Materials and click Add
# I then rightclick on the new material, goto Properties, click the drop down arrow next to diffuse map and choose bitmap
# Next, I go to properties and click on Change and double click on the texture I just made.
# I select the group I want to apply the texture to, then rightclick on the material I've just made but the Assign option is greyed out!

Does anyone know what I'm doind wrong, any help would be massively appreciated. Thank you in advance.

p.s. I've already had a look at the zombie texturing tut that's floating around the net but this doesn't help.

When you unwrap the model dont copy it. Save it as a .JPEG or .BMP

@Saberdude, I've solved the problem, I still don't think I'm doing what I'm meant to do but it works and that'll do for me, of course I wouldn't of solved the problem if it wasn't for your help so thank you very much, your help was much appreaciated.
