Operation Pineapple is an FPS being made with DBCe. The main objective is to shoot other players with flaming, explosive pineapples. It started as a piece of my presentation for my research paper about computers in my English class (which I have yet to do), and will hopefully evolve into a full game. I will be releasing a demo soon (which, if people want, can play until the full version is made), but for now, just look at the pretty pictures . Feature requests/suggestions will not be ignored and are welcome.
Included is a screenshot of the main menu *what I have done so far).
Oh and just in case, I declare some legal mumbo jumbo that says that Operation Pineapple is copyright me.

Useless tidbit of information:

Pineapples are often used as a prop in Stargate SG-1. Next time you watch an episode, pay attention, you may spot one.

High quality models and graphics, low prices. Graphics for the rest of us.

@JeBuS: seriously? and freaky, i was planning on having a gate in the game. youd turn it on, walk through, appear on the other side, and the gate turns off or becomes inactive for a certain amount of time or something.

seems the menu screenie isnt working (last time i link to webshots )
click view for it.

update: the robot is almost done (thanks to sandra). here's a pic:

seriously, the ingame screenie is coming soon, unless you count the menu as ingame. as for the demo, i have a date set for releasing it: as soon as i get this multiplayer sorted out.

not that much of an update, but:
current idea's of weapons are:
the flaming pineapple launcher that mustrix is making
the ASSAULT!!!(inside joke) rifle
pistol
some form of sniper rifle
a gun that involves lasers
orange 'nade
current ideas for maps are:
jungle-ish planet
earth-like planet
barren red planet
indoor/outdoor space station map with seperate gravity
my friend's back yard
hopefully, i'll put some code together for different times of day, such as morning, day, and night. just by using seperate textures for the sky shperes.

once operation pineapple's done, i might port to C++, and if that works and someone cracks the signature, i'll have it ported to the xbox.
i know it sounds like a lot (and rather noobish at least its not an mmorpg ), but i have a lot of time to work, and an equal amount of patience.

tell you the truth, i haven't been working on it, but the demand is high enough at school that i need to finish it by the end of the school year. wel, i do have monday-wednesday off for mardi gras. plenty of time there.

not much of an update, but a slight delay. i've caught the flu so i won't be able to work on the game much , but mustrix is working on texturing the cyborg, so i guess that's a little progress.

Nice. I think it looks decent so far. I like the pineapple idea.

A little bit of a deupdate.
i removed everyone weapon except for the flaming pineapple launcher, which i may change the name to the 'spazooka'. and i took out vehicles.
here's a little poll:
should i switch to dbpro? do y'all care about the watermark?
yes or no?

and you can track the progress of this game and my other project at [href]www.spazuh.tk[/href]

cheers spazuhs

i only have the demo. because 1. i bought dbce before i heard about dbp, 2. i'm too lazy/cheap to buy it, and 3. i won't be using db for long, only when i need to do things quickly for school.
