I am making a game called War Master, where you have to destroy the good or the bad.

It's an mmorpg, freeform, of course.

i have a screenshot. (see attachment)

It's not much but i will keep you updated on the progress.

please god make them stop. posting pictures with objects loaded on them doesnt mean much buddy. at least in my posts i onyl state that they are just models, or i will actually make an engine testing the models and throw round ideas, this is just ridiculous. oh and always destroy the bad.

Your saying that you can make an MMORPG already? You screenshots don't show much at all. Yet you think you can make an MMORPG. I show you this:

I think you need to make a game your more likly to actually get somewhere on.

I'm also a noob too so don't get me wrong, but an MMORPG isn't exactly simple...

You guys are worse than a pack of hunting dogs and a fox, your always so quick to jump on the mmorpg makers . Theres no reason to post these negative comments, just let him get as far as he can. Its a good way for him to get experience with DB.

You think so? The only thing he'll do is waste a year or so on nothing.

Anime Blood: i have atually been using db for 2 years. Just because i have db, doesn't mean that my joined date is how long i've used it.

Benjamin: Thanks for being kind.

Everyone: When it's done there will be free until the 5th update.

Guys Dared is acctually pretty good. Don't flame him, he makes some real good music, and I bet this game will give him some nice stuff to put in his next game.

@Dared: You might wanna stick with the Software game, a MMORPG is pretty complex. And a starting out coder, should try it. Maybe if you make a RPG, then you can try and expand to a ORPG, then to MORPG
, then if you can make it too this, a MMORPG. Just put some room to expand on the RPG.

I thought you had to join before you could purchase any of the TGC products

Then you would have thought wrong. Simple as that.

Dared, I'd say follow the crazy Canuks advice and take baby steps first.

WHAT IF

There is actually tons of logic behind that seemingly simple screenshot. What if the Zombie is at level 12, and the dog is ready to use its Raging Paws ability?

In all seriousness, because the screenshot doesn't show anything doesn't mean there's nothing there. This is a lesson for flamers and n00b posters. Flamers take what I just said, and new posters be sure your shots show off the coding work you have done.

Guy's, you really need to stop flaming people!

Dared,
A MMORPG is an extremely hard style of game to start codeing, let alone finsh.
This is one of the reasons why people start to attack you, because you're new to the community, they automatically assume you don't have a high codeing ability ( which, unfortunatly is true most of the time with 10yo's trying to make the next GTA3 ).

If you beleive in your project, then keep going. Don't stop because a bunch of random people on the net said you can't do it.

I do, however, think that you shouldn't say much more about it untill you have something more substantial to show ( such as a full-screen, in-game with multiple players screenshot, or, a Beta, which would be much more convincing! ) because you will just get all this kind of flaming at you.

For now, go code some

Jess.

I agree with Jess. It's just that you see so many RPG type games that fail, so many n00bs trying to make the next morrowinds, that flaming is a automatic response. So I'm sorry if I offended ya
