I think that there are three editions of Visual C++ 6.0 compilers - Learning Edition, Standard Edition, and Professional Edition. Which edition of Visual C++ can Dark Game SDK use?

all of 'em, as long as you install SP5 for it.

There is another version as well : Enterprise Edition.
