Will it be possible at release, or in the near future, to be able to create an FPS that takes advantage of Team based multiplayer over the internet? Something along the lines of Counterstrike maybe? And if so, how hard would it be to add something such as a server browser?

Thanks.

Guns arn't the problem, people are the problem, shoot all the people and guns arn't a problem anymore.

There's something about this in one of the other forum threads.

Here:

(located in the thread near the bottom about splitscreen and co-op)

I think there's also a thread about Deathmatch too somewhere.

I couldn't find the Deathmatch thread, but I'm pretty sure you can have online deatchmatch and CTF.

PS: sorry about the three posts in a row

Wait a minute, you were talking about things like team deathmatch through an online server, weren't you?

If online play is supported (I'm pretty sure it will be in some upgrade or the full version) and deathmatch is supported too, then it would be easy to make online deathmatch. With teams, I don't know. I don't know if FPSC will even support teams!

PS: sorry about the 4 posts in a row !
PSS: I haven't been very helpful with these 4 posts either.

In future, please use the Edit link located at the bottom-left hand corner of your post.

I don't even think that Lee knows the answers to the above questions at the moment. Details on multiplayer functionality will be made clear after the Early Adopter release.

Oh sorry RobK I didn't notice that the button/link-type thing was there.

By the way:

This is off topic, but did the TGC staff make the Apollo forum html/javascript/<insert coding language here> ?

And if they didn't, where did the TGC staff get it? Just curious.

Rich coded it himself, using PHP for the actual website integration, MySQL for the database, and HTML for the actual site

Wow. I had a feeling it was made by someone within TGC when I couldn't find anything about it on Google. It's really good though. Tell him that. Did he also code the whole TGC site?

How'd you know that, Zero Blitzt?

PS: RobK, I used the EditPost link to make a change
