Im currently making a remake of the 1982 classic Time Pilot. The player assumes the role of a futuristic, time travelling jet who travels through different eras fighting hordes of enemu aircraft and defeating bosses, all the while racking up their score!

You begin in 1910, fighting biplanes and blimps.
In 1940, you fight spitfires and B-52s.
In 1970 you're up against Apache and those big helicopters with two rotatory blades.
In 2000 you fight against fighter jets and stealth planes.
Finally in 2030 you must fight off an alien invasion (small and big ships).

Once you complete 2030 you restart only it is harder and faster.

here are some screens;

This one shows you travelling through time.

coincidence? how about pure cosmic convergence!

Wow, looks good! I like how you stuck to a sort of retro feel.

Guns arn't the problem, people are the problem, shoot all the people and guns arn't a problem anymore.

Cool .

Time Pilot was probably the first arcade game I got hooked on - I remember a very depressing caravan holiday when I was a kid, the entertainment was a shed with a pool table and a TP cabinet.

Thanks for the positive comments!

I just had to stick to a retro style, though its alot more polished now. Fancy 'realistic' models just wouldnt suit such an OTT game, flying around in different time periods for no real reason, blasting anything from biplanes to UFOs.

Love the look hmm. Very clean and simple graphics, with some nice special effects is always a good combination.

How's the progress on this game? This was a great arcade game, because you weren't limited to the confines of a small square really. I loved going as far as I wanted in any direction.

The game is now finished, and you can fly anywhere you want. I'm just waiting to set up my website properly before I officially announce my newly finished programs(this, i world and a new world editor).
