hi teffo, yep its quads everywere but i didnt did the uv display map, want to texture the model anyway ?

and for those who asked, a wrie fo the model and the polycount at 1265, probably after triangulation it myght reach 2000, seams ok to me since this will be a "in-screen" wepon (the one you hold in hands)

everything in a game is triangles, game engines only run triangulated meshes, has does darkbasic, because the rendering method is done by tristrips sweepts, well db sux so it myght use trilists hehe, anyway this thread is for COMMENTING teh gun, you liek it or not ?

no its teh gay. Anyway i was talking about milkshape the editor, can i edit using just squares or do i have to select triangles as faces cause it makes it look uglyzorz when im workin on it.

im ilkshape you can only edit in triangles, anything. i know it sucks.

hey sandra you could get rid of a few faces here n there i think. is the strap a rectangular
shape? if so you could collapse one side and make pyramidal. since noone will see all 4 sides at once anyway. just suggestions. it looks nice though.

you have 'bison' in the render , yeh looks accurate not sure why the strap is connected to the mag seems a lil senseless.

you appear to be using Maya...
Triangulation is the TRIS number on your HUD

Press Spacebar in a view, then goto Display > HUD > Polycount

as for the strap, it attached to the otherside of the weapon.. on the side by the looks of things, perhaps a hook on the top.
would need a better picture to see precisely

nope, i use max, i dont know the exat number of polys because i dont want to, but now i know , they are around 2500, anyway i have a budget of 4000 for the wepon.
