I've updated my web-site to list all the current set of commands. It's still in BETA as there are other commands I will be adding later.

AGHHHHHHHH, any chance this works with dark basic classic? if not, any chance you could modify it for dark basic classic?

LamptonWorm - what do all the values say when running it - and whats your OS ?

Hexgear - The following should work for normal DP (assuming you've downloaded the latest version of Speech) :

load dll "Speech.dll",1
call dll 1,"?InitSpeech@@YAKXZ"
call dll 1,"?say@@YAKPADH@Z","Hello World",0
call dll 1,"?DeInitSpeech@@YAKXZ"
delete dll 1

I'm sure I'll be able to come up with a way of allowing the internet plug-in to be used as a DLL...

LamptonWorm - are you using W95/98 without the Speech icon in the control panel ? If so, you'll need to download the Speech system from Microsoft first.

To use the Internet.dll DLL, you need :

load dll "internet.dll",1
call dll 1,"?sendEMail@@YAHPAD0000@Z",..

or

call dll 1,"?sendEMailShort@@YAHPAD000@Z"

thanks a lot, that worked fine! is it just supposed to open your mailbox and display the subject and body of the e-mail as written within the code or you can also create and send the e-mail through the code? i.e. sending the mail withought clicking send on the explorer window!

I haven't worked out a way of sending without having to click on the send button.

It would be debatable about whether it should be released if I did, as it could be used in virus writing.

LamptonWorm - I forgot to mention that, if the problem is the missing Speech system, you need to download Speech 5.1
