Hello everyone. This is mainly to the members of the Chaos Hizzle
team, but anyway . Tonight at 0PM GMT we are playing the very
first Chaos Hizzle demo, and so we want a reasonable amount of
people to play. Its not an amazing demo, but Final Epsilon rushed
me, so blame him . I just wanted to get a basic version ready
where you can run around killing eachother. I'm not posting this
in the work in progress section because I want certain members
of the forums to see it.

The demo was going to be a free for all but I'll add a team feature too..so we'll have a couple of games as a team, and a couple free for alls.

Anyone who wants to play it, post here before 0PM GMT so I know
how many players to allow for(and so I know how many asses I'm
going to kick tonight ).

0PM GMT(midnight)
6PM Central America

I'm confuddled now - 12PM would be midday, and 11PM would be an hour before midnight (12AM), right?

Would this still go on into the morning, because I feel crap and I'll probably pass out around 10

Also, plz plz PLZ compile it for the poor souls like me who don't have DBP

So basically, if i can play it, I will.

(P.S. My m8 who doesn't know *ANYTHING* about DB says he'll play it too.)

Sorry, I was wrong, 12PM is noon . I meant midnight. If you can't be online then I suppose I could change the time. And yes, it'll be compiled to an EXE . We'll only play for half an hour or so, perhaps less, maybe more..

I'll upload the EXE around 11PM GMT, gives me some time to add some things. Pray that Final Epsilon will lend me a bit of webspace .

Quote: "Make it earlier... And then i shall play."

Awww does your mummy want you to go to bed at 9PM? . Okay well sometime - tomorrow perhaps - I'm going to do a session in the day for people that can't play tonight.

Do you wanna play too? ^_^

Add a yellow submarine!

And don't give people the source code unless you can kick people off your server - i mean, any old person can delete the line that stops you going through walls, or stops you shooting more than 5 bullets/sec...

And somebody might transmorphicate the cube into a sphere

Maybe in the next demo .

Quote: "And don't give people the source code unless you can kick people off your server"

Don't worry, I'm not showing anyone .

Quote: "And somebody might transmorphicate the cube into a sphere"

Yeah but it wouldn't affect how other players see them.

Anyway, Blanky186, you gonna play?

I'll probably catch the daytime thingy. Can't do 2nite, 'cuz frankly I'm only 13 and when you're thirteen there's some things you simply cannot do, whether due to parents or lack of sleep/coffee.

P.S. Jimmy - I AM NoT a CRimINLALLLAL - check the hizzle.dbspot.com forums in General Talk :p

Thanks but its over now, and it went terrible

Quote: " Be sure to take lots of screenies for me!"

Eh....trust me, you weren't missing much . To be honest this was more like an alpha than a beta . The walls, floor, and ceiling, are temporary textures, so you can't really tell what its gonna be like..but...well you can see the stapler at least.

DBPro's multiplayer commands sure failed us tonight. Apparently four of us managed to connect, but then when I started the game, it froze up, leaving some people in the lobby(the waiting screen where you wait for the host to start) and some in the game. After that we couldn't manage to connect again. I however managed to connect to Final Epsilon, and we beat eachother a single time .

I guess its time for me to start using WinSock...
