how about adding the functionality of having an EMAIL sent to the POSTER when someone REPLIES to his/her post? sometimes it's really hard to tell (& time consuming) to go back thru all the threads to see if you received an answer to your post or reply.

I agree... very handy to just get an email and click on the link in it.

At the same time, how about a cookie so I'm always logged in? That would be convenient.

There is a cookie to keep you logged in, but it only lasts 24 hours. I'll make that a user-configurable option. Emails are indeed useful but before that I have to get the new threads in the post a different colour with some kind of "go to new" button at the top - that is top priority for me right now.
