Send me a zip of the project and a description of how the animation is to be done and # of animations and frame count.
Please, if the zip>3MB then upload them to a site and I will DL tonight.

Hey DS, if these are the guns I've been making it'd be cool if you could share them with everyone like I shared them to begin with. If not, still please consider it.

You need to define the animation parameters and I will need textures.

What I mean by animation parameters - how many frames of anim do you need. ( I usually use 30 @ 1f/s)

Motion protocol. If a gun. You need fire - move gun with recoil and reload animation if necessary. But most likely just fire with recoil. I will check to see how the .X meshes are made before I can make anything. It looks like these are easy to do, but wait for me to do one first and see if works.

Texturing these will be the simple textures you provided. No hand drawn textures since that takes much time.

Thanks. I sent some textures to this forum! I dont care how you do it as long as it looks good! Have fun! And thanks again man!
Does the animation process involve puting the lighting effects on the end of the gun? Please tell me if its not how!

Generally muzzle flash is added programatically. There's several methods of doing it, the simplest is merely placing a transparent plain with an animated flash texture applied at the muzzle when a shot is fired...

Ok I will have some done tonight. No muzzle flash. Just recoil and reload anims. 60 frames @ 30fps

Hang on

Here's a beretta textured and animated

animation

1-30 gun fire
31-60 magazine empty/reload

Let me know how it works for you.
Texturing was fast, so you may want to modify it more
