Well it has happened people, Snow island BETA 2 has officially begun as of last month, I am only listing a brief somewhat detailed update until Big brother gives a further update with both screenshots, renders as well as presenting the total work that has taken place thus far.

I will say however that the new level design far surpasses what snowisland has had as well as unpresidented detail in weapons and weapons choice, as well as a new soldier model employing "special animation technologies" that friends helped with ( no more SGT crap'n pants for those that complained)
here are as follows
1)new nicely detailed weapons models (think rainbow six)
2)new level design incorporating architectual accuracies encompassing the island. encompassing 3 areas of the island that are revamped as well as 2 new accessible areas not acceessible before due to new form of transportation, and ideas posed by BIG BROTHER
3) whole new unique terrain mesh and texture, with detailed landscape ( not that barren snow covered antartica look from before)
4) unique animated NPC models as well as a new soldier model employing "animation technologies" not accessible to most modelers (ill explain further with new updatebut some of you can guess what it may involve)
5)revamped gate entry system
6) new story arc being written ( taking the game play of 10-15 minutes to roughly 2 hours or so depending on the depth of work done.I should be presenting the story arc to big brother along with other work within 2 weeks or so)
7)new unique musical score and gameplay music as well as ambient sounds, effects, and perhaps if given enough time (voice overs for cinematic in game sequences re: beta 3 perhaps) : friend has a music studio and a isolation booth i am calling upon a few talented friends who can give their voice talent to this game.

well that is it, within the next few weeks or so with work being closely monitored recorded and added to the existing code base that Big brother is writing things should be interesting to say the least, i do wish I could release actual renders, screenshots but that is up to Big brother own discretion on what work he will release as far as screenshots, and renders I am working my butt off for him and it has been paying off both of us. Keep to this post for any news or updates in the coming weeks.Things are gonna get wicked very soon.

.."then again, that's just my opinion I could be wrong. "

Sounds sweet.
Do you think there will be a higher PC requirement for stable play because of the new content?

probably but not by much. but itll be worth it.not so much going to be a higher poly count than how effectively it is used( streamlined re: polys player wont see are deleted in 3dmax making better use of polys, but more emphasis on creative texture use which i think is more important than how many polys u use, as well as more advanced level design than before. I hope to Have something soon. im getting closer and closer to gettting something really concrete and useful to present.
