Hi, I'm going to be teaching a workshop on introductory game programming at my college and I was wondering which do you guys think would be better to use for teaching purposes? We have 3 copies of DBPro and 10 of DBC. The people doing the workshop would not necessarily be programmers and the emphasis is on easy yet practical game programming.

well i think dbc is better but i think the interface for it is horrid and also dbp has more commands so if you are going to start them out do it on pro so they can learn all of the commands going on and have time to learn the interface

I would also suggest pro as it is more professional in appearance and with programming code. But I am only qualified to suggest pro, as I have not used DBC for more than 20-30 minutes and I have used DBP for about more than year.

I would go for Pro. As far as I see it, DB Classic is now a legacy application, Pro does everything it does and more, and it will give you greater scope, as you don't yet know how far your students will progress.
