Hi, I met with Lee today and we talked through all the bugs in the bug database. It was clear to me that we need a little more time to ensure we fix all the issues for this version and have some extra time to check the final build. All of this boils down to the release date now entering the first week of February. This is not a big delay and I don't see a reason why it should slip again (famous last words)!

There are some key things that we need to take care of - otherwise you'll all be screaming at us for releasing it with them in

This is our best idea of release for now. I will post again next week to let you know how we are doing. Just for the record, Lee has this many bugs to fix in EA as of right now:

12 High Priority
7 Medium Priority
15 Low Priority

Doesn't sound a lot but I am sure some more will still come up and some of the existing ones may take many hours to get right.

Thanks again "RickV" for the awesome update.
Nice to see that someone on the actual team keeps
us updated on the development.
(not that the beta testers are doing a bad job
they are great.)

Probably slight graphical glitches, a menu not being in the right position, that sort of thing.

The latest version seems very stable to me, still a bit foggy on the entity height problem - gotta read up on how to change the heights, and the return key did'nt seem to do anything (it's supposed to raise an entity to the right height for tables etc). The minor bugs are probably things like entity setup files needing changed slightly, glitches more than anything that can be fixed without needing code changes.

It's certainly a lot of fun to use, designing rooms is nice and easy, and the basics will take no time at all to learn, leaving more time for hacking those script files and making your own level segments and media.
