One game reviewer site said(as seen in one of the trailers)...

Quote: "A halo killer?"

I'm a humongous fan of halo, but, i think this game will be wicked(not saying better than halo, but i'm saying.. Wicked)

I saw some footage of that, it looks cool, but kill Halo? - they should really get a grip, how often has that been coined! - it's a blah blah beater, just like Killswitch is a Halo beater on PS2 and Metroidrime is a halo beater on GameCube - no disrespect to these games but they're not even close.
Everything seemed a bit over the top to me, every effect is in your face trying to impress you, but what's impressive about particle effects that we've seen a million times before. Personally I'd rather see a FPS that's completely different from Halo.

Seen it in action, reminds me of Time Splitters 2 with Shaders. Considering Time Splitters 3 is almost here... I think it's another sub'par effort for the FPS cake slice.

This said, after playing Perfect Dark again the past 2 days. Honestly I think almost every FPS currently out is just coasting on a tried and tested fomulae.
